LUCIE BROCHARD.võ is flying to Seoul
For the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and the Republic of Korea, the house presents “Couleurs d’Origine,” a minimalist, layered, streetwear-inspired and digital capsule collection, conceived as a bridge between Paris and Seoul. Ceremony at Deoksu Palace, exhibition at the French Embassy , a new Franco-Korean chapter will be written in June 2026.

A new chapter begins for LUCIE BROCHARD.võ, as the house continues its international expansion. In June 2026, we will present in Seoul our latest creation “Couleurs d’Origine,” a capsule collection dedicated to the Korean market. A French vision of tailoring and silk, designed for the Korean silhouette, its codes, and its modernity.
This event is not simply a presentation; it is part of a historic moment. June 4, 2026, will mark exactly 140 years since the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation between France and the Kingdom of Joseon in 1886. A friendship forged through history, which the house is honored to celebrate alongside leading French and Korean institutions.
“Couleurs d’Origine”: a French collection designed for Korea
For this exceptional occasion, Lucie Brochard has envisioned a collection that engages in a dialogue with contemporary Korean culture. Airy silk, fluid tailoring, and a palette inspired by the colors of obangsaek, each piece reflects the house’s DNA while opening up to a new sensibility. The collection draws from the urban wardrobe of the active Korean woman, balancing structure, elegance, and freedom.
This approach continues a dialogue that began in 2016, when LUCIE BROCHARD.võ presented its trilogy “Escale,” “Vol A264,” and “Un jour, une nuit HK” at Seoul Fashion Week, during the France–Korea Year. Ten years later, the conversation deepens. By finding its most accomplished expression in this new collection.
Street influence brings a sense of effortless ease to the pieces, while a digital sensibility visible in the prints, textures, and the collection’s communication speaks to a Korean generation shaped by K-fashion, social media, and a pixel-perfect aesthetic. A wardrobe designed for today’s Seoul, where tradition and hyper-modernity coexist within the same silhouette.

Where cultures meet through design, creativity, and shared sensibilities, a dialogue is born that transcends borders.
— France–Korea Season 2026
A cultural dialogue that transcends generations
Today, this Franco-Korean connection continues to evolve through cultural figures who embody this bridge between worlds. The Embassy of France has appointed two honorary ambassadors for the France–Korea Season 2026, whose commitment plays a powerful role in promoting this anniversary year and fostering dialogue between younger generations.
Among them, Felix Lee of Stray Kids,a global K-pop artist and representative of a generation that connects Seoul and Paris through music and fashion. Alongside him, Jun Ji-hyun, an iconic figure of contemporary Korean cinema, whose elegance embodies a cultural and emotional bridge between Korea and France.
The celebration will also feature a special performance by Sumi Jo, the legendary South Korean soprano renowned worldwide for her virtuosity and her interpretations of the bel canto repertoire. A Grammy Award winner and one of the most celebrated opera singers of her generation, she represents the excellence of Korean artistry on the global stage.

Through their commitment, the France–Korea Season 2026 speaks both to heritage enthusiasts and to the new K-culture generation that has made Paris one of its key sources of inspiration. As these two countries continue to draw inspiration from one another, LUCIE BROCHARD.võ is proud to take part in this ever-evolving conversation.
The next journey: Paris ⇄ Seoul
We look forward to continuing this journey between France and Korea, where fashion, creativity, craftsmanship, and culture continue to meet and evolve together. From Seoul Fashion Week in 2016 to Deoksu Palace in 2026, dressing the First Lady of Korea, Kim Jung-sook, passing through the International Fashion Art Exhibition and pop-up stores in Paris, the house continues to write, step by step, a free, powerful, and universal story.
This new chapter is only the beginning. A bridge connecting two capitals, two cultures, two generations, and a vision of fashion that celebrates what we share in common.
